Self portrait time!

I just had a good hour with painter and I feel sexy again. Sometimes you can go for a long time without taking time to draw from reference and you forget how good actually drawing something present can be. I'm not knocking drawing from imagination at all, but drawing from observation makes everything easier. I hope you enjoy the roughness of this. I've been digging around on the conceptart.org forums recently and Andrew Jones did a 1,000 self portraits project. Roughly daily I think it took him at least 2 years. That's an awesome example to follow, I'll post some links sometime if they are handy. Don't worry friends, I'm not starting a thousand day project yet. Key word: yet!
